I wanted to love this product because of so many wonderful reviews. But after using it for around 2 months it just broke out my face. I mainly got clogged pores after using this. It didn't really feel like I was getting a good clean. I tried it two different ways I read about. 1. W/o water and 2. W/water. But I guess for my skin type it wasn't suitable.

“Love this line!!!!”-May 7, 2009
I'm 38year old esthetician with reactive,couperose, oily, blackhead prone skin. I started using MD Forte about 5 years ago and was extremely happy with it. Last year I switched over to Obagi, results were good but EXPENSIVE. I now use MD Forte combined with .05% Tretinoin every other night and it looks and feels better than it did on Obagi(for a fraction of the price). My skin looks flawless. Oh and I also use Youngblood mineral cosmetics which I highly recommend, far superior to BM and coverage is unparalleled! Just bought MD Forte 1 for my friend for her birthday.

“Awesome”-December 19, 2008
I've tried plenty of different types of cleanser from philosphy, skinceutical, SkinMEdica..ect.. and i always return to this one. Feels great, doesn't dry, refines, helps with scars and helps reduce pimples! The only negative i would say is i wish it would remove more of my makeup. I wash twice, because i wear a lot of makeup. And the bottle last a very long time.

“A Fine Alternative to Jan Marini's Bioglycolic Cleanser...”-April 30, 2008
I had been using the Jan Marini Bioglycolic cleanser for a few months, which has 12% glycolic in it. I wanted to advance to a 15% amount, so I went with MD Forte Cleanser II based on the amount of positive reviews. I have been using it for a few days now and really like it. Even though the % of glycolic is a little higher, this seems to be more gentle to the skin than the Jan Marini cleanser, yet works just as well, if not better. Leaves skin as soft and as smooth as can be. Pores look flawless. Look forward to trying Cleanser III at some point down the road. I take away a half star as I wish it had a pump to dispense product.

I love the way this makes my skin feel. Break outs are no more and the redness in my cheeks has gone way down. The smoothness it creates is awesome and I've never had any trouble with being too dry. I'd recommend it.

i've been moving around from one big city to the next over the past 1.5 years, and as a result my skin didn't take to well to the constant envriomental changes. i had pretty bad acne in the cheeks that wouldn't go away, and big pop ups here and there. i've gotten cream from my dr, tried birth control, and even retin-a for a while (which worked a little, but irritated my skin from time to time). i was starting to think all hope was gone because the acne had ravaged my skin and left it looking dull, and old looking. i was recommended md forte by my dentist, and within just 4 weeks the improvements have been more than stellar. i no longer have any new breakouts, the elasticity of my skin has improved dramatically, and my skin is smooth. i just have some red marks left over, but they are fading fast. i definitely forsee putting away all my foundation and coverup within the next month or two. GREAT product, and definitely worth a try.

I am 45 years old and have tried every type of acne product there is. I have had moderate to severe acne since I was 11 years old. I have been through 2 rounds of Accutane, have used Retin-A and every type of antibiotic (topical and oral) that can be prescribed. I have used Dermalogica, Pevonia, Murad and other products, but MD Forte is simply the best. I am currently using Facial Cleanser II and I can see the difference in my skin. My skin has not been this clear ever! This product controls my acne and smooths out the many acne scars that I have. My skin looks clearer and smoother, and my daughter has commented that this is the best my skin has ever looked! Try it, you won't be sorry.

I have a combination skin with some congestion in t-zone. I used to get expensive facials to clear my skin but discovered a better way to clear my skin. After one week, yes only one week my skin cleared up. I used this Cleanser and Lotion I. This product is also less expensive than other Glycolic brands. Simply the best. Try it - your skin will thank you.

“Wasn't impressed”-October 15, 2006
I was not impressed by this product. I read the reviews and was excited to hear from people over the age of 35 with pimples. I used it for a few months. I did get compliments on my skin texture. My lines eems to diminish and it did seem to give my skin a healthy glow however, I still had as many cystic zits as before and it didn't do anything for these tiny bumps i have all along my jaw line. I would say this product is good for getting rid of fine lines but not great on the over 35 zit.

This product feels very professional and "medical". Nothing unnecessary here, no fragrance, no colour, nothing, just action. It diminishes my pores, peels of the dry skin and do not irritate or dry out. I started with no1 and am now heading to no3 in this serie. I can't get enough of it!

“The best!”-March 21, 2006
At 27, I'm paying the price for spending my teenage years in the sun...not only have I had skin cancer twice (thankfully I'm ok!), but my face has premature lines and big brown sunspots. My dermatologist got me hooked on Cleanser II and I can't even begin to describe the difference it has made on my skin. My brown spots and lines around my eyes and mouth are noticeably disappearing and my skin looks brighter and younger....I'm finally looking my age (even younger). I would give anything to take back the time I spent in the sun, and this is enabling my skin to heal and rejuvinate itself. It cleanses so well and my face feels so smooth and silky afterwards. I've tried everything and nothing comes close to this. I would recommend starting with Cleanser I, to make sure your skin can handle the glycolic acid (its very gentle), and moving on to II. Remember to use sunscreen when using this product!!!!

Immediate change in skin tone and texture. I also started using it with Stri-Vectin SD. A wonderful combination. My frown lines have diminished and my neck looks and feels beautiful. I feel 5 years younger after only 6 weeks! I am 39.
