Ever since I switched to Avene product line, and adding Clearance K, I noticed that my break-outs have reduced, and any blemishes I do get no longer are those big swelling types and do tend to fade quicker. Only thing I don't like about Clearance K is that it has a sticky feel on my face. But for less blemishes, it's worth it.
