I bought for myself for adult acne that showed up in my mid 40's. I didn't want to be on antibiotics anymore. Using this plus MD Forte Glycare cleansing gel is amazing. I could see the reduction in the bumps under my skin by the second day. I started using on my teen son who has very oily skin. He had deep seeded blackheads on his chin that would not come out. After 3 days of using the cleaners and perfection gel, several of them came out easily with a face extractor. He is hoping if he keeps using it they will all come out. We are both very pleased !!!!!!!!

Controls oil & blemishes!

Believe me, I have tried them ALL: Clearisil, Stridex, Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, ProActiv etc...This is the BEST product I've tried to control oil and treat blemishes. They are gone in a few days with this gel. (For me, that is a huge improvement because my blemishes NEVER seem to heal). I use it at night after the Glycare Cleansing Gel. But don't use too much or your skin will have white flakes or excessive dryness. Also, avoid the sun or use a good sunscreen when using this! I definitely recommend this and I'm tough to please!

I am so glad I found this site and can go back to MD Forte products. This gel is great - I spot treat my adult acne at night when I break out and it dries those suckers up in 1-2 days! It's amazing!

Great for Mild to Moderate Acne

I'm 35 and have struggled since my early 30's with hormonal acne. Sometimes my breakouts get so bad, I won't leave the house. I started using MD Forte products and Retinol and my skin is now clear as a bell.Even those pesky monthly breakouts rarely happen. I like the perfection gel because it's helped make old acne discolorations virtually disappear. Within 3 days I noticed a dramatic improvement and within 2 weeks, my spots were completely gone. I use this at night along with my Retinol. It may feel tight at first but then it softens up. the only complaint I have is that I cannot use this under makeup because my makeup flakes off. So I only use it for spot treatment.

My skin must be really tough cuz this product didnt work that great on my acne prone skin. Its definetly not as harsh as benzoyl peroxide but i noticed that the benzoyl peroxide got rid of my blemishes instantly. dont get me wrong - this perfection gel kind of works but only on mild acne prone skin.
