Make skin smooth

I used this powder for touch up because i have combination skin. It gives a mat finish and make my skin look smooth and soft.
I tried other PTR product and always been satisfied with it.

Doesn't work with my very fair skin

I always wear powder because I have very oily, shiny skin. I love Peter Thomas Roth products and was really excited to try this product. Unfortunately for me, I have very fair skin and although this item is shown as translucent, no matter how thin I apply it my skins takes on an orange sheen and looks darker than the rest of my skin. It looks like a bronzer on my face. I hope that PTR expands this powder line to include different tones, like their unwrinkle foundation, so I can try it again.

This product is wonderful. The first time I used it, I purchased it from another company, that evidently doesn't have it anymore and I was so worried I couldn't find it. One shade I think it was when I tried it - could not possibly work for all. I think if someone's skin color and shade works well with this, they have themselves a good product. If not, I'd ask the company to make a lighter shade. Otherwise I saw no problem with it. A bit expensive, but so is this line.

I have fair skin but live in Florida and am exposed to sun on a daily basis, so I do not have pasty white skin (wish I did, then I wouldn't have wrinkles!) This powder is advertised as "translucent" but it is very dark. It makes my skin look dirty. I was pleased with the texture of the powder, but the color is nowhere near what the sample shown is. Very disappointed and will return.

I have been using this product for years now and it is the best powder ever. It NEVER cakes or looks heavy. Nice around the eye area because it doesn't show all the wrinkles.
