This was exactly what I was looking for in a lip gloss. It's soothing on the lips, great mint flavor, high spf and some shine (but not over the top shine!). The consistency is perfect--not too goopy, and I find that it lasts. A little goes a long way but when I run out, I will definitely be buying again!

Good lip balm

I like Philosophy's clear lip balm and have used it for several years. It does what it's supposed to do. I would like to be able to purchase the original version, without the SPF 20, but it seems to be no longer available. I prefer the citrus flavor of the original to the mint flavor of the SPF version. More importantly, I like to apply lip balm before going to bed and would prefer a product without sun protection.

I normally use the kiss me red, but this stuff is awesome too! My husband uses this one (clearly b/c he doesn't want red lips!) It's not too girly for a guy, it makes his lips smooth and soft, and stays on for hours. It has a nice, mild pepperminty smell. Some people might think $12 for a lip balm is a lot to spend when you can get a chapstick for $1, but this blows everything else out of the water. It will last FOREVER - my last tube lasted well over a year and I used it a couple times daily and every single night. Can't go wrong with this one and I am a fan for life!
