Fekkai make great shampoo and conditioners - no doubt about it!
I have been using their volumising range (which is excellent) and given that I have about 40% white hair thought I would go for the ageless range.
Packaging and presentation is superb.
The shampoo and conditioner both share an interesting perfume. The best way I can describe it is that it smells a little like hot plastic. Which is fine if you are into hot plastic!
I think this range is better suited for hair that is not fine as the conditioner does weigh the hair down and makes it flyaway and difficult to style.
So, perhaps my error was not taking enough notice of "delivers intense hydration" on this point.
However, the perfume limits the enjoyment of using the product (for me anyway).

My Boyfriend Hijacked My Product!

I'm a longtime loyal fan of the Bumble & Bumble Creme de Cocoa line, going on 8 years. I've tried other conditioners from time to time either because I ran out of my precious stash or someone had recommended a different brand. Regardless, I consistently returned to Bumble even though I wasn't particularly fond of the coconut fragrance.
A few months ago I received a trial size sample of Frederic Fekkai Ageless Restructurizing Conditioner but didn't use it until I ran out of my other product. Not expecting anything exceptional, I was immediately impressed by the lightness and amazing hydration I felt in my hair as I rinsed the conditioner out of my 18 inch locks. The fragrance was fresh and didn't seem gender specific, which is probably why my boyfriend (a former CREW user) has hijacked my product. We’re on our second bottle now and he is now recommending this product to all of his friends. I’ve even converted my long-time stylist over as well, which is no small feat.
Moral of the story: don’t tell anyone how great this product is unless you’re good with sharing!
