Contrary to the previous reviewer, I find the Caviar Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner to work well. That said, I don't colour, blow dry or otherwise damage my hair, primarily because my scalp reacts poorly to those stressors. The Alterna products thankfully don't irritate my scalp (most products do, especially conditioners), leave my hair shiny and soft, but not greasy. The conditioner doesn't weigh down my fine hair. Recently, someone I haven't seen for 6 months noticed that my hair colour is now blonder than when she saw me previously. So I'm quite pleased with the result. I'm tempted to try the Alterna Shampoo & Conditioner for red hair because my natural colour is strawberry blonde...

Not as good as Caviar Moisture for dry hair

I'm 39 years old with long, highlighted hair that is very dry, coarse, and frizzy. I used the Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner with amazing results. My hair was so smooth, I needed hardly any smoothing serum. I tried the Blond to see what it would do for my color. My blond did look nice, but my hair felt dry and was a little frizzy. My color looks just as nice with the Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Moisture products. And if your hair is seriously dry like mine, the Moisture just can't be beaten. You might like the Blond is your hair is more normal. Sure would be nice if they made Blond Moisture!
