Saying that this cream has a strong smell is not enough - it's comparable to putting on a perfume. If you can't stand walking through the perfume counters at Macy's, then you won't like it. For me, it was just too overwhelming. It took about 10 minutes for the cream to be absorbed and it felt a little greasy during that time. Half an hour later, I had to wash my hands and I felt like that washed some of the moisturizer off. The cream may provide good results, because my hands did feel soft after using the cream. However the whole package did not work for me.

best hand cream -May 3, 2009
i've used ahava hand cream for years. it is the best. there aren't many hand creams i can use because i hate a sticky feeling. the secret to this one, is you keep rubbing your hands together past the point of its sinking in. a few seconds later your hands will shine and feel absolutely silky!

Excellent website. My friend's are asking where they can purchase Ahava products...word of mouth "SkinStore.com".

silky moisturizer -April 30, 2008
I Love this product because when I apply it my hands feel silky and moisturized and it lasts for a long time; not like other lotions, where my hands feel dry after 10 minutes.

My favorite! -December 31, 2007
I have been through so many hand creams in my lifetime, trying to cope with my very dry hands. This is one of the best hand creams out there to deal with problem dryness. I live in a relatively cold climate area and in the winter time especially, my hands would become red and even crack if I don't keep them well moisturized. Ahava hand cream happens to be the one for me. I actually like the smell and in my opinion, it's a rather light, refreshing smell. I have recommended this particular hand cream to a number of people.

Love this product! -December 25, 2007
I have used this hand cream exclusively for several years now. It's the only one that actually seems to make a difference in the winter when my hands get extremely dry.

Really strong scent! -December 6, 2007
I suffer from a small psoriasis patches on my hands sometimes. I read some great reviews about this product for dry, sensitive skin so I thought I'd try it. This is definitely not the product for me. The smell turned me off right away, it is very strong & flowery, nut I decided to tough it out to see the moisturizing effects and have to say I was really dissapointed. Not at all better than a generic drugstore brand I'd say. I will go back to using Burt's Bees Baby Bee lotion, it seems to be the only thing that works a bit for my hands.
