“Not Worth The Price”-November 13, 2009
I wanted to use this for a number of months before I gave a review because I was skeptical of all the hype this has received. I have used this along with the delicate brush head for about 10 months. At first I loved how clean my skin felt after using this. The brush made the Nude cleanser I use almost frothy and you could see the makeup and grime on the brush which was very satisfying to see. I was careful not to use too much pressure and I always cleaned the brush head once a week and used a new head every 2 months.
Since using, my skin would have periods where it looked good but then I would get breakouts where I usually don't get them. The acne itself was different than anything I've experienced as well; small, hard, red pimples that hurt and take forever to clear! My skin is normally pretty clear except for a few hormonal pimples. I continued to use because I did not want to believe the Clarisonic was the culprit. I was also hoping it would help with blackheads on my nose which was the main reason I purchased it. It has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for the blackheads! It has not minimized their appearance in the least. After my last breakout I decided to stop using this expensive gadget and my face started clearing in 2 days and I haven't had any new pimples. Purchasing new brush heads is also inconvenient and costly in the long term. A good quality "tube" exfoliant would do the same job for far less money. Bottom line, this can cause more harm than good.

“Worth the investment”-October 26, 2009
I was on the fence about purchasing this because i wasnt sure if i really needed it. Couldn't i wash my face without? What is the big deal about this product anyway? Well, all i can say is that i can not imagine cleansing the old fashioned way anymore. This product is amazing. So gentle, and it leaves your face super clean & soft.

“Instead of Microderm/ Helps Expensive Prodcuts”-March 17, 2009
This is my first review for Skinstore and I am a huge product junkie. I am so glad I made this purchase. I have so many products but have always been left feeling like my skin is abnormally prone to acne even though I am 29. This Clarisonic is the key. I use the Obaji Clezaderm soap, just a drop and try to wash morning and night, it has lifted up some serious dead skin on my face. My pores are clearer. Trust me, after a week of use, you will kick yourself for sleeping in your make-up even for a night. I have read the reviews stating that this made them break out. That is not what causes the breakouts. The pimples were already there, just consider the first week of the Clarisonic as a week of bringing the inevitable pimples to the surface. DO NOT PICK PIMPLES THAT THIS BRINGS OUT. Your skin is much more sensitive, just use a warm compress on them, seriously, your pimples will no longer be buried deep under the surface. Use your sunscreen. And YES, your moisturizers and products will get to do their things. I would say this is the best alternative to those who know microderm works for them but can't afford the cost and routine of them, well worth the cost in those regards. Keep your brushes clean and stock pile replacements don't let your unclean brushes scrub your face. In conclusion I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

“Amazing”-January 20, 2009
This is one of the best investments I have ever made on my skin! I am mixed race black woman who has had acne for 12 years that got worse when I became an adult. This things has cleared me up better than my dermatologist or my aesteticians ever did at a small fraction of what I have spent on my skin in the past year alone. I use it with my antiacne and my breakouts are controlled and it gets rid of any flaking caused by using some acne products. The only setback is the price and it has to be cleaned often, but it is worth every penny!

“Silky Smooth Skin!”-October 19, 2008
I bought this because I wanted to exfoliate without using exfoliating scrubs that end up getting in my eyes (had to go to optometrist to get particle removed). I've used this for about 3 weeks and my face feels smoother and softer. I have nice skin already but the Clarisonic made my skin feel renewed and more vibrant. Also, my sun spots have gotten lighter! My face feels thoroughly cleaned after I use this. But be warned...only use once a day or all the exfoliating might make your skin produce more oil (which happened to me).

“Waste of Money”-August 9, 2008
After hearing such wonderful reviews of this product, I decided to give it a shot, despite the astronomical price tag. Before using this product my skin was perfectly cear. Within two weeks my skin is now breaking out. I believe it is because oils get trapped on the brush head, just as they would on make-up brushes. I am not happy with this product at all and am hoping i can return it to clarisonic for a refund. I wouldnt waste your money.

“FABULOUSITY...CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT!”-July 12, 2008
Love it, love it, love it! The Clarisonic makes any cleanser or treatment penetrate deeper and work more efficiently. Before I got the Clarisonic, my pores were like swimming pools - I mean, they were really huge. After using it for three weeks, my coworker and I were having breakfast in an ugly, fluorescent-lit diner and she marveled out of nowhere, "Wow...you have, like, no pores! Your skin is practically poreless!" The proof is in the pudding...it works! At first, it felt a bit uncomfortable to use on my nose - about a year-and-a-half before I'd had rhinoplasty, so I just used it really lightly on the area. Now I have no problem; it just took some getting used to before my nose became less sensitive. In any case, I highly recommend it. It's a wonderful product, fun to use, and totally effective with AMAZING results.

I've dealt with cystic acne for years. While you can clean with your hands, this system gets your skin squeaky clean. The same feeling as after a professional facial. For those expecting a brush that rotates; this brush vibrates 100s of times per second for a thorough and deep clean. Worth every penny. Buying one for my daughter and niece.

“Best in skin care”-February 16, 2008
Thanks to all other reviews as I checked them before I bought the Clarisonic brush. It's unvelievably good since my skin looks so good all the time that I no longer need to put a lot of stuff at night to nourish it, or cover some flaws during the day. The interesting thing is that I don't even bother to put on moisture at night any more because my facial skin feels so pure and clean. So why bother to clog the pores again? Somehow the skin reacts to such cleaness with natural oil that there is no need for me to put on moisture after cleaning my face at night. Maybe because the pores are cleaned so the skin can start function like it should. I love this product as it makes me to be natural me.

“Expensive, though Smooths Skin”-February 3, 2008
I'm a professional male model and am fortunate enough to not look my age. I attribute this to using this product along with MD Forte products, too. After using for a month now, I have noticed smoother skin and no flaking. I have some minor keratosis on face-raised rough spots- and find that this buffs/smooths them out. I hate wearing any kind of make-up on shoots and believe this product along with MD Forte/Formulations help keep my skin looking great! thanks. (4-stars only as product too expensive.)

“My skin is less shiny!”-October 13, 2007
I love this brush! Like many other reviewers, it leaves my skin soft and clean, at the meantime not harsh at all. I've been using this for about two months now, and notice my skin doesn't get as oily as it used to (I have very oily skin). Being able to use in shower (waterproof) is wonderful. The only reason I give a 4 star is because the way to change the time/power setting is a bit confusing; and of course it's a bit pricy. But having great skin is priceless right? :)
