I recently got my first chemical peel. I have very sensitive skin and the technician didn't leave the chemical on my face very long. I got the lowest form of chemical. I was surprised when I left with a very red, sore face like a severe sunburn. I was told I could use my regular skin products that night but washing with my cleanser made my face feel like it was on fire. Not knowing what to use to calm my face, I reached for my Lancaster After Sun Balm. I applied a thin layer, which didn't irritate my flaming skin, but calmed down my sore face. I am not suggesting this would work for everyone, but for me, it is giving me the relief I needed. I won't be getting another peel again, but will always have the Lancaster Balm on hand for regular use as well as things like a sunburn. It is a bit pricey but you don't need very much. I have great results with the other Lancaster products. I use their SPF 30 lotion on my face every morning before my make-up and love it as well. Good product!
