“potentialy good”-November 27, 2004
Nice idea to avoid unnecessary additives by just adding the active sunblock ingredient to your own moisturiser, but unforutnately Titanium by itself doesn't protect from the full uva light spectrum. The addition of Parsol (avobenzone) would solve this. The ingredients would also need to be mixed in evenly to get proper coverage.

“Innovative/Excellent alternative to traditional sunscreen”-November 20, 2004
This product is concentrated TiO2 in a water base. By adding a couple of drops to your moisturizer, you get a personalized physical block without experiencing possible sensitiviy to either a different chemical sunscreen or to a vehicle you just don't like. I have a terrible time using sunscreen - I've tried so many. This is such an innovative idea, I can't believe that I just found that it exists! The addition of the Titanium Dioxide to a moisturizer does make it a little less slippery, dryer and initially matte. So, the texture will be changed a bit. It's really worth it though. While I would rely on a product with a defined SPF for true "outings", this product works perfectly for my trips from my car to the office and back. Five stars to BENEV for marketing such a terrific, innovative product and filling "my" specific need. (The squalane oil is great too.)
