Excellent Exfoliation Scrub for Men.

The Art of Shaving facial scrub was the first exfoliation that I used simply because it was for men & it was sold at my barber shop. I needed a scrub because I used to suffer horrible ingrown hairs and my barber, who also preforms shaves, recommended me to exfoliate on days I didn't shave. Basically, the scrub frees the hair from a layer of dead skin. After years of shaving correctly and using scrub/ingrown hair lotion, I have reduced the amount of ingrown hairs and razor burn. Not to mention, whenever a girlfriend stays over, the scrub always seems lighter. In fact, my girlfriend says she loves this scrub. I like this scrub and use it to this day, however, I use my girlfriends Whish scrub more and more. Would I recommend, yes. But, I recommend Whish much more. You can find Whish on skin store (I use Almond or the pomegranate, but prefer Almond).

Great scrub to use either before or after shaving. Doesn't dry out my boyfriends skin and the peppermint isn't overwhelming. I love the smell of his face after he uses this and it feels ridiculously soft!

Super exfoliant, perhaps too aggressive

The Art of Shaving's Peppermint Facial Scrub is a very good exfoliant and has a delightful strongly peppermint scent and feel that make it a very invigorating face scrub for men. Not the sort of scrub than has the smooth beads, this stuff is more like that grainy soap mechanics use to clean up. Does it work? Really well and it feels great. But this stuff is serious and you really cannot use it everyday unless you want to shed your outer-layer of skin from your face permanently. For a weekly exfoliant, though, this stuff is pretty awesome.
