“LOVE IT”-September 25, 2009
I have been using this product now for over a year and i am really pleased with the results. Not only have my lines softned, but my skin, which was getting dry and rough in places, has never been softer or more supple. I have some age spots and one of them has almost disappeared! I have even gotten a few compliments which is something that has never happened to me, although i do use this in conjuction with vitamin c and retinol products from the SkinStore.

“THE Best!”-August 29, 2009
As a teenager I never had a problem with acne. But in my early 20's it hit me. I tried everything. It was so bad that my Dad even sent me a Proactiv kit on the day I finally gave in to seeing a dermatologist. She prescribed three different Rx's and MD Forte II. I haven't looked back since. I'm now using MD Forte III and if I don't include this cleanser in my everyday routine I'll have a horrible break-out with in a matter of a day or two. That was 10 years ago. The stuff works. I just turned 43 and am still using it. If you haven't seen a dermatologist yet, give this a try first but work your way up to this III level. It might be all you need.

“Can't do without it”-May 15, 2009
I thought the cleanser II was the best until I worked up to cleanser III strength. Nothing you can buy will compare to the MD Forte level III line. I have tried Brandt, Peter Thomas Roth, and various OTC cleansers and they cannot compete. This product delivers amazing results on acne, scars, and keratoses pilaris.

“WoW...If you are middle aged & have acne,TRY THIS!”-April 15, 2009
Hello, well I am 34yr old male and never had acne when I was younger, but now have been battling acne for bout 5-6 years now. I have tried EVEYTHING. That's no lie, I have tried it all.Proactive, Murad,Skin Ceuticals,Perricone,Neutrogena,Clean & Clear,ect,ect! I would pay anything if I knew it would work. Then my sister went to a dermatologist and he recomended MD Forte III and I gave it a try. Now my acne isn't totally gone forever, but my face looks so,so much better.I still get a blemish every once and a while,but if you are trying everything and its not working, give this a try.Even my friends comment on how different and better my face looks.I also use the Clean & Clear acne spot treatment following washing, but its not too exspensive and you can get in almost at any drug store or many stores. So try this method if you are like me and have tried everything else and they haven't worked.I'm SO GLAD to have finally found something that works.

“Puts a tingle in my morning routine”-February 13, 2009
I worked for a cosmetic dermatologist for 8 years. This was a product line that we carried and recommended to our patients. The 20% glycolic doesn't irritate me since I exfoliate regularly. If you've never used glycolics I would advise working up to a higher strength. I use it primarily in the morning to break up congestion and dead cells accumulated overnight. I massage it over dry skin for a few minutes then rinse. It gives me a nice tingle and glow.

“Give it a chance”-November 17, 2008
This is the first time I've ever written a review about a skin care product. I'm that impressed with this skin care line. I've had an acne problem my whole life (I'm 37 now) and I've literally tried EVERYTHING (Murad, Proactive,prescription lotions from the derm dr, etc)! I wish I could remember how I found this line. I think I was looking at reviews for another line and saw all the positive reviews about this one. I figured, I've done all the others, why not give this a try. Sooo glad I did, I've been a faithful user for over 5 yrs and will never use anything else. It cleared up my acne, sun spots, and has apparently kept the wrinkles to a minimum, big time. I am constantly told I look more than 10 yrs younger than my age, seriously. They don't believe me when I tell them my true age. That's one of the other reasons I'm sticking with this line. I now only get the occasional zit every few months, if that, and my skin feels and looks so good - finally! I started with the II products only because I had already been using glycolics. Then I went to the III cleanser and Rejuvination Lotion III after everything was finshed. So if you've never used other acids, I'd start with I line first and work you're way up. I think it's totally worth it whether you have acne or not. My friend asked my about what I use and I raved to her about it. She has really oily skin and decided to use the Glycare I line so far. It been almost a month and she loves it. She says it is reducing the oil, but thinks it will be a slow process. She said 'it took me a lifetime to get this way, I can't expect it to work overnight' lol. I can't wait to see her and see if I notice a difference. She is right, it did take some time for it to do it's job, so don't expect an overnight miracle. It took me a few months to start clearing up. Over the years, it's just been getting better and better. Give it a chance.

This is a fantastic glycolic face wash but only for those who have developed a tolerance. I would not recommend starting with this level as it would surely be irritating but once you are there, there is nothing more exfoliating than this cleanser. I love how it leaves my skin baby soft.

“Simply the Best...”-August 24, 2008
I started out with the Facial Cleanser II and easily worked my way up to III. This is my favorite cleanser of all time. I have sensitive skin that used to get occasional breakouts in the oily T-zone area. Using this cleanser has helped keep my skin clean, clear and breakout free. I use a quarter sized amount on dry skin, let it sit for a few minutes and rinse off. It leaves your skin feeling so smooth and balanced. It is amazing how it makes your pores look invisible. I don't even have to wear foundation anymore, as my skin improved that much from using this cleanser. Just a suggestion - if you wear eye makeup, use a makeup remover first, as this cleanser isn't meant for taking off mascara and eyeliner. My only suggestion for improvement pertains to the product packaging and that would be to offer it with a pump for ease of use.

“Holy grail!”-July 30, 2008
This is the first review I've written about a skin care product. I've been using MD Forte cleanser for about 3 months and although I noticed an immediate difference, I wasn't sure if it was living up to its reviews on makeupalley or other sites. When I took the advice of some of the reviewers and started leaving it on my face for 5-10 minutes before rinsing, that's when my skin really improved. I've been battling acne for 30 years - although I still get breakouts and clogged pores, my skin has never been better and I even go without makeup sometimes. I recently started using it twice a day and am continuing to see improvement. Even though I started with the III cleanser, it never dried out my skin. It did sting a little the first couple of weeks I used it. I love this stuff! Oh, and it lasts forever - I've had this bottle for 3 months and still have another month or so left!

I bought this due to all the rave reviews of it being a miracle worker-I have yet to see or feel any results. I don't really feel like this cleans my face, and that's probably true since a few times after using, there are traces of makeup still coming off on my towel. I prefer Kinerase.

“Saved Me From Menopause”-June 1, 2008
I had fairly clear skin until I hit menopause. Then I started getting deep, red pimples on my chin that I had no idea how to deal with. I heard the makeup artist on "What Not To Wear" recommend glycolic acid and bought the M.D. Forte Cleanser III. It didn't take two months or even two weeks. Within two days I saw a difference and I have had my clear skin back for a year now. My daughter and younger sister use the M.D. Forte Cleanser II and also love it.

This product is like Cetaphil with glycolic acid added to it. If you like Cetaphil then you will probably like this. If you like a foaming cleanser stay away from this cleanser.

“WON'T USE ANOTHER”-January 26, 2008
For years I used Dove soap, and when I went to get a facial it was suggested I start using a cleanser. I used some, but they were expensive and I really didn't see any results worth paying for. This stuff somehow sloughs off dead skin without any abrasion or dryness. I use Retin A type products at night and in the morning my skin has a little dead skin residue on it. I get in the shower and use this and all the dead dry skin is gone. I have dry Colorado skin in winter and oily skin in summer and I use it all year long.

“Stick at it.”-December 28, 2007
I used this for 2-4 weeks before I saw any results, you need to stick at it and use nothing else to wash your face but this, my old problem was that after a few weeks if i didnt see results I gave up and tried something else which ended up ust irritating my skin making it worse due to all the different products I was using, so use this day and night then follow with a good amount of mosturizer.

“Love this stuff, highly recommend.”-October 30, 2007
This cleanser is absolutely amazing. I have never, in 21 years of having acne, been able to find a cleanser that cleans my skin so thoroughly (even with make-up), clear up my mild to moderate acne breakouts and leave my skin feeling so smooth and soft. You will see a definite improvement in your skin after the first use. I have been using the MD Forte Facial Cleanser III for one week, along with MD Forte Facial Lotion II and MD Forte Advanced Hydrating Complex Gel. The cleanser and the facial lotion makes your skin tingle a little but it is very tolerable. I have experienced dramatic results in a short time. You only need to use a little bit.. a little goes a long way. I find the MD Forte line of products a bit expensive but they are worth the money. Excellent products, I will continue to buy them!

“Disappointed”-October 24, 2007
I can't believe I spent $30 on this. With all the reviews I was so excited. I'm 45 and am breaking out worse then my 17 year old! Maybe the problem is I have really oily skin. This makes me feel as if I have a mask on. I tried it only a few times and had to stop. I just couldn't stand how it made my face feel. Right now I'm breaking out more then I can remember. Sure would be nice if I could get my money back!!!

“Unbelievable!!!!!!!!”-September 24, 2007
This is by far the BEST cleanser that I have ever used! My skin is smooth, fine lines have become almost invisible, and brown spots have significantly lightened. I have been using this cleanser for about 2 months and it only seems to get better. There is no turning back, this cleasner is a must!

“great stuff”-August 10, 2007
I bought this cleanser about 2 weeks ago. My friend told me about it because she got it from her dermotologist's office. She has moderate acne like I do. I'm a product junkie and have tried almost everything short of accutane to get rid of the acne I get on my chin. Proactiv, Murad, Benzacline, Differin, a rx sulfa cleanser and nothing helped. I even bought a Zeno a month ago (which does help to a point, it does dry them up faster). So I got this cleanser and I use it along with Brevoxyl-8, a rx benzol peroxide cleanser, and my skin is really looking great. My acne is dissappearing and even the whiteheads and blackheads I had, especially around my mouth area are gone. I'm truly impressed by this stuff. It stings just a little, but it's nothing bad. And the free shipping and everything is great. I love this site!!!
