I've been using this for years, so I suppose it's about time I got around to writing a review! I use it nightly, smoothing it over dry skin (glycolic cleansers work best this way as they dissolve the "glue" that holds the icky, dead skin together). My little trick? A few nights a week, I leave it on for about 10 minutes. If I'm wearing makeup, I remove that first; this might or might not be absolutely necessary, but my brain tells me it feels right. I saw smoother skin right away with the Level III cleanser, and it just got better over time. My face feels so clean when I use it, and though it might seem counterintuitive, it never leaves my combination skin tight or dry. It's a very comfortable cleanser that absolutely works, and it lasts for ages. I highly recommend this one!

When you want a cleanser that FEELS like it's gently removing the top layer of gunk from your face, this is the one to try. The acid ingredients give it a tingly feeling, but you don't end up looking red or enflamed. And your skin does look clearer and fresher after a few days use.

If your looking for a face wash that exfoliates if you have large pores discoloration this is the face wash to use. Its a creamy texture wash its different than most washes it doesnt lather up once you get use to that you'll find its a great face wash.

I went straight to III. I had never used this brand or type of cleanser, but it does make your pores smaller and it is a great value. It has not irritated my skin and it makes your skin feel soft and smooth. use on body, too!

I can now stop my quest for the perfect cleanser. I am 38, have oily skin prone to acne and in ten days my skin has changed completely. Not only have I not had one new blemish surface but the red marks from prior breakouts are virtually gone. The tone of my skin is more even and my pores are much less visible. And for the level of glycolic it is not harsh at all. The second morning after I started using the cleanser one of my male coworkers said I looked "good today, like a china doll". For a man to take notice of a change in skin is unheard of.

This works great, I have used this for years. This exfoliates but does not dry. This product uses buffered glycolic acid so it is better tolerated. Great product!

I am in my mid forties, but attribute my outstanding complexion to using this product. I don't feel clean without it. USE IT ON DRY SKIN, then rinse off in the shower. My face doesn't feel clean unless I use it daily and I rarely get blemishes

I have used the MD. Forte line for about 3 years now. My mom referred me to their products because of dark spots on my face despite my young age. I have seen a noticeable lightening of these spots and overall feel of my skin. I use the lotion also and I will be a lifetime user.

I have been using MDFORTE products for 5 years now and I can’t recommend them enough. I have only been using the facial cleanser however for a year now to remove makeup at night.
I use this in conjunction with MDForte facial Lotion 3(which I have been using for 5 years now morning and evening) The cleanser feels a little different at first but I have found the best results are achieved using a dime size amount of cleanser rub it in well all over your face and remove it with a warm damp white face cloth repeat these steps for a super clean feel then rinse with water and apply the lotion 3 under moisturizer. Even if you think you have no makeup left on your face at the end of the day you will be amazed what will be on the cloth after using the cleanser. If you’re looking for an even skin tone and visibly younger looking skin use these products you will not be disappointed with the results. These Products are also great for people who suffer from with spots and acne, which I no longer do thanks to these products. I had a facial 3 days ago and the beauty therapist could not believe I was 40 she said she would give me 31 or 32. This is By far the most effective anti age products I have ever used and I can tell you I have used a lot, they tighten and refine the skin giving it a youthful glow. I only wish I had discovered these products in my teens.

I have been using this product now for 2 years, it is the very best. I was diagnosis with adult acne. I was breaking out on my chin with these huge cysts. I have been using this product now for over a year and i am really pleased with the results. Not only have my lines softned, but my skin, which was getting dry and rough in places, has never been softer or more supple. I have some age spots and one of them has almost disappeared! I have even gotten a few compliments which is something that has never happened to me, although i do use this

THE Best!

As a teenager I never had a problem with acne. But in my early 20's it hit me. I tried everything. It was so bad that my Dad even sent me a Proactiv kit on the day I finally gave in to seeing a dermatologist. She prescribed three different Rx's and MD Forte II. I haven't looked back since. I'm now using MD Forte III and if I don't include this cleanser in my everyday routine I'll have a horrible break-out with in a matter of a day or two. That was 10 years ago. The stuff works. I just turned 43 and am still using it. If you haven't seen a dermatologist yet, give this a try first but work your way up to this III level. It might be all you need.

I thought the cleanser II was the best until I worked up to cleanser III strength. Nothing you can buy will compare to the MD Forte level III line. I have tried Brandt, Peter Thomas Roth, and various OTC cleansers and they cannot compete. This product delivers amazing results on acne, scars, and keratoses pilaris.

Hello, well I am 34yr old male and never had acne when I was younger, but now have been battling acne for bout 5-6 years now. I have tried EVEYTHING. That's no lie, I have tried it all.Proactive, Murad,Skin Ceuticals,Perricone,Neutrogena,Clean & Clear,ect,ect! I would pay anything if I knew it would work. Then my sister went to a dermatologist and he recomended MD Forte III and I gave it a try. Now my acne isn't totally gone forever, but my face looks so,so much better.I still get a blemish every once and a while,but if you are trying everything and its not working, give this a try.Even my friends comment on how different and better my face looks.I also use the Clean & Clear acne spot treatment following washing, but its not too exspensive and you can get in almost at any drug store or many stores. So try this method if you are like me and have tried everything else and they haven't worked.I'm SO GLAD to have finally found something that works.

Puts a tingle in my morning routine

I worked for a cosmetic dermatologist for 8 years. This was a product line that we carried and recommended to our patients. The 20% glycolic doesn't irritate me since I exfoliate regularly. If you've never used glycolics I would advise working up to a higher strength. I use it primarily in the morning to break up congestion and dead cells accumulated overnight. I massage it over dry skin for a few minutes then rinse. It gives me a nice tingle and glow.
