I had to write since this product got such an awful review! I am a fan of "dark shadows," and am bummed that skinstore no longer keeps it in stock, as I just logged on to re-order!
Let me start by saying that in no way does this product advertise permanent eye lightening effects. It is simply a quick fix that can be used under your foundation. It doesn't make dark circles completely disappear, nor does it remedy puffiness, but it does nicely to illuminate and improve the appearance of dark areas.
I have dark circles around my eyes and upper lip. I don't wear a lot of makeup nor do I use this product daily, but when I'm going out on a date or simply want to look my best, I dab a little on the dark spots. It looks natural, goes on smoothly, and doesn't interfere with makeup application in the slightest. I've used concealers and powders to "cover" dark areas, but they seem to look "cakey" and by the end of the evening, they collect in the creases and fine lines of the eyes and look awful! This product seems to be the best quick fix. And since you only need a drop, a small tube goes a long way.

I do not wear much make up, but I have had a good result with the philosophy primer and pore minimizing products. Since I have sensitive skin I'm cautious with my selections, but I decided to give their eye product a try. Whern I 1st put it on I noticed a slight tingling sensation and I should have quit there, but I didn't. Anyway, It did nothing for my dark circles and within a week of beginning to use it I began to break out in the area around my eyes - and my face does not normally breakout (with the exception of a monthly bump or two)..
