“I really wanted to be a fan. . . .”-February 18, 2010
. . . I was so excited to join the very large fan base of the Clarisonic. But unfortunately, it didn't work out for me.
I noticed in my first couple of days my skins was very oily, then I noticed a lot of blackhead and whiteheads appear. Then later a few full blown zits - the cystic kind I used to get occasionally when I was in my teens and twenties. I typically don't have trouble with acne at all, so this was a surprise.
In high school, I learned I couldn't wash my face twice a day or I would break out. Evidently that was the case with the Clarisonic - it was just too much for my skin 20 years later - even using it once a day, with a sensitive brush and on a low setting.
I've heard so many rave reviews, but was disappointed by my personal experience. I did notice some fine lines disappeared and the overall appearance of my non acne skin did look very good.
If you typically don't have very sensitive skin, and can wash it twice a day, you'll be fine and your skin will definitely be soft and glowing. But if you find over cleansing opens your skin up for all sorts of bad side effects, it's probably best to avoid this product.
Again, I really was excited to be a fan and am disappointed it didn't work out for me.

“You Get What You Pay For”-December 30, 2009
Undoubtedly, this is pricey. Is it worth it? Absolutely! It is the equivalent in cost of 2-3 deep facials, yet my skin now feels as if I have had one every single day - without the tell-tale extraction marks. My face has not looked this alive in several years. I now have color in my cheeks, my pores have noticeably reduced in size and are completely unclogged, my fine lines are no longer on the verge of full-blown wrinkles, my skin is SOFT to the touch, and, most importantly, my face has a luminous glow to it - like in my (early) 20's. I tend to be a bit "frugal" and have teetered on this purchase for quite some time, but I am beyond satisfied. Bottom line...try it! It comes with a satisfaction guarantee. “You are Worth it!!”-December 28, 2009
i've been looking at this product for quite some time...but i thought it was too expensive for me...i bought it for my Christmas to ME...i love it...it makes my skin so clean...and it helps my skin absorb my beauty products so much better...i use Strivectin and Philosophy Hope in a Jar daily....i swore by those products and the Clarisonic makes it much better!!!...=)

“Pricey But Worth It”-November 23, 2009
I am in my sixties and always have had acne issues. I have tried everything, but a plastic surgeon suggested the clarisonic. I got it Thursday and today is Monday. I can already tell that my skin looks better. My huge pores actually look smaller. I don't think I will every have perfect skin, but this device is worth every penny. Buy it today!

“Pretty good scrubber”-November 21, 2009
I purchased the Clarisonic immediately after release and used it for about 6 months. It works well for scrubbing, but I have since found it easier to go back to just using a gentle buff puff. The Clarisonic brushes wore out pretty quickly and the constant beeping and over-riding the cycles to get enough scrubbing just turned using the brush into something that took much longer than just going back to manual scrubbing. I think, at least for me, it was unnecessary to be told how long area of my face needed to be scrubbed. It is also much more economical for me to not buy replacement brushes a couple of times a year.

“Worth the $$$”-October 31, 2009
I got this at the end of August and have used it diligently twice a day. I have good skin so I didn't expect dramatic results, but, after about a month, I saw them. Age spots have faded, fine lines have diminished, and the overall texture of my skin has improved. My skin is so much softer and refined. Other reviewers are right about this fact: it does help your products absorb better. I use Jan Marini products and I have found that I use less product now. This is well-worth the money.

“Can't live without it!”-July 17, 2009
After read all the reviews, I made the investment! One of the best decisions I've made. I literally can't live without it. I even took it with me when camping (I like tenting, so I had to fully charge it beforehand). It's super easy to use, and helps me keep my combination to oily skin in check. I use my choice of cleanser with it, since I didn't care much for the ones that came with system. I can feel it clean deeper into the pores, and love the refreshed feeling afterward. I used to be lazy when it comes to face washing, maybe because I didn't find my old cleansing routine made much difference. Now I look forward to using the Clarisonic system every day. I have used the normal brush head on my body, but I found that it takes longer than my old body wash routine, so I'm hoping their Spot treatment brush head would be sold individually soon. It seems that the new brush is a little bigger and should work better for the body.

I can not say enough good things about my Clarisonic! After many years of searching for something to improve my oily, congested skin I have finally found something that works. My face is brighter, smoother, softer, more evenly toned and my makeup goes on wonderfully. This is an expensive product but it is a worthy investment in healthy skin. “Love it! So Happy I Bought It!!”-December 28, 2008
I have only had this item for a couple of days but I love, love, love it! I take exceptionally good care of my skin (I use a number of Philosophy products) however this took my skin to another level. I have always had tiny blackheads/clogged pores on my chin and I have already noticed those diminishing. My skin feels so soft and looks so good. My husband also tried it and it made a noticeable difference the first time (he doesn't take good care of his skin. I will continue to use most of my philosophy line with this product and I am convinced they will be more effective. This item is expensive however if you compare it to the cost of a couple of peels, you will get your money's worth in no time. Highly recommended and so happy that I tried it!!!!

“Improved skin texture”-December 27, 2008
I have been using mine for about 3 weeks. I have been using it daily with my own cleanser. It feels good to use it, is very user friendly, and easy to care for. The best part is that the texture of my skin has improved noticably. My skin is very smooth and soft. As far as improvement in the occasional breakout, or discoloration... no improvement noted yet. I got the his and hers package (it comes with a sensitive skin brush head) and both my husband and I really like it!

I love my Clarisonic! I feel I don't even need to use exfoliators or microdermabrasion because the Clarisonic does it for me every single time!! My face is so soft and smooth after using it. It works great with my Philophy cleansers. I haven't used the Clarisonic cleansers - but will save them when I'm travelling. This product is wonderful, I saw results after the first time I used it. It had enough charge when I received it so I was able to use it right out of the box. I have not tried it with the cleansers provided to comment on them. I realize it is expensive and out of reach for some, but why purchase treatments such as expensive moisturizers, serums, etc., unless you are going to thoroughly cleanse your skin before using them? I gave it 4 stars due to the high price. I was able to save a few dollars and purchased it when Skinstore had a storewide savings event. When you register your product, the company will send you a free brush head, a $25 value. It is a treat well worth saving up for or splurging on. After all, imagine how much better your treatment products will work once your skin is properly prepped.

I can not stop raving about this product! I had acne in the past which cleared up (in my 20's) and now I have rosacea (in my 30's). This product has helped me in getting healthier skin and now my treatments are absorbed into the skin quicker. My skin is smooth for the first time ever! I love it!
