I've got dry, sensitive and the occasional acne skin. Most cleansers I've tried were too drying or irritating. I am staying with Purity. Its milky but it still gives you a squeeky clean wash without leaving you dry or irritated. Just remeber to take your time in using this product.

I really wish this product worked for me. I love the scent and it cleaned my face well. Not sure if it was the cleanser or the hope in a jar, but after about a week my skin started to itch. My not work best for sensitive skin.

“Some ingredients may increase pigmentation!”

Although I have used this product RELIGIOUSLY for about 5 years now, there are a few ingredients that may cause an increase in skin pigmentation/discoloration (carrot extract) and the rose and coconut extracts may cause a reaction in sensitive skin types. When I got pregnant recently, my skin brokeout SEVERLY! As I said, I have used this and no other cleanser for almost 5 yrs, so I tried the Clarifing line with Murad and that made WORSE, even WORSE!!! I was desperate so I researched the ingredients, hence the preceding statements. I had an adverse reaction to the listed ingred. I tried the MD Forte line plus N. V. Perricone and my skin is RADIANT now!! Hope this helps some of you!

This is the BEST toner/cleanser in one! It removes makeup better than others I have tried, without stripping your skin and giving it that "tight" feeling. My face is smoother and cleaner, and I think this is the product I have to thank for it. Perfect for people that want a one-step cleanser/toner!

This is a good product as it does a great job removing all my eye makeup. It smells wonderful and leaves your skin feeling really clean. However, sometimes it does leave my skin feeling tight like it's dry, so I alternate it with another cleanser and that seems to work fine.

“Break Out!”

I'm 37 & my skin has started to change in the past 2 years... fine lines, wrinkles, blotchies.... Looking for soltions I started using the "Makeup Optional" products about a month ago - I started to break out a few weeks in so decided to eliminate 1 product at a time to see if I could figure out which product might be responsible - I rarely get breakouts & have never used toner, I wash usually with olive oil soap & water so I eliminated "Purity" first & wham, within days my breakouts started to disappear. I was disappointed because I was enjoying the ritual of cleaning my face & it works well to remove make-up. The other products though are fabulous! Hope in a Jar & Hope in a Tube especially... my skin looks & feels great!
