I have acne prone skin, but at the time I purchased this product I only had small breakouts during that time of the month (like one or two small pimples). I initially got this product to give me a smooth look. Anyways, the small bumps (papule looking) they say may occur never went away. After 2 months of using this product I started forming pustule and nodule acne. The big painful ones which I have never gotten before I used this product. My faced flared up for about 8 months straight. I have finally controlled my acne but after 2 years I am still left with the acne scars. Depressing.

I find this works great for me. About the only issue I have is that it reddens my face a bit and I appear a bit flushed the next morning. As a result I just use it a few times a week and still get great results.

I purchased this product to get rid of several small bumps under the skin and improve texture. My first purchase which lasted 2 months did not yield any diffence in my skin texture and the bumps did not go away or even diminish. I just purchased the second time and I am working on my 3rd month since the product states results are cumulative.So far I am not impressed and very disappointed since this is a "Staff Favorite" and was recommended by the Skin Store.

I've been using this nightly for a few weeks and have actually noticed an improvement in my skin. It feels smoother, looks less red, and really does seem to glow. I'm getting fewer breakouts too. I can use less makeup and get away with just powder on the weekends. The peel is strong but not nearly as harsh as some other glycolic acid products I've tried, doesn't sting or smell bad. No flakiness or inflammation on my sensitive cheeks either. (Note: I also use the All Over Blemish Gel and DDF cleanser; seems to be a good combo so far).

This mask has good quality ingredients but something you have to do everyday to keep the results up, just is too much work for me. I think this product would be good for younger skin, somebody just starting out with hydroxys. I want something more than just 10% that has to be used daily. Your skin does feel nice afterwards, but if you miss a day, ho hum. If I have to go through all that rubbing of two different cloths, I want better results. My skin can not take that daily abuse. Give me stronger acids with less applications. You can get 10% at any drugstore for way less money. I wish they made a 20 or 30% peel, that one would be a keeper.

This product is one of the best I have ever spent my $ on. My skin is clearer, softer and more youthful than ever in my life (43) and I get compliments daily on my complexion. Decreased my breakouts and is like a daily facial! Try it, you'll love it!

Just not worth the price. This peel created a beautiful radiance to my fair skin for about a half hour after which point my face turned the color of cement. It was clearly the wrong peel for me. I will not be using it again

my stats...african-american female, 40's, acne scars. have been visiting a very good dermatologist for chemical face peels. at $120 a peel, thought I'd try this stuff. well it hasn't worked for me...no peeling whatsoever after 4 weeks using it twice a day even..back to the derm for me.

I have been using this product for over a year and it is absolutely essential as part of my regular skin care routine! My face seem much more refined and keeps my pores clear. The best part is that it now allows me to finally be able to put the expensive anti-aging products on my face without fear of irritation or breakouts (I am 41). After a peel pad treatment I will use Prevage and Kinerase cream (and sometimes Cellex C Oil free Marine lotion). Not sure, why but I have noticed that the travel pads seem to give me a more intense peel that sometimes is a bit too much...just don't use as often.

wow i gotta say this product is amazing i had alot of acne and now is almost gone and the scars are almost invisible i highly recomend it however what i dont rcomend is going outside without sunscreen your skin ill burn other than that i love it

I have oily skin and exercise a lot, so I break out really, really easily- basically, I have really clogged pores. I've tried exfoliating scrubs, but I have sensitive skin and they tend to just irritate it. I have also tried benzoyl peroxide treatments (such as Proactiv) but they DRY out my skin sooo much (and I have oily skin!) and I just get all red/irritated and get a rash on my neck that looks like hives! I tried this product and it has been AMAZING. Yes it stung at first because it is quite literally acid, but my skin has gotten so clear, and it's only been a couple weeks. The actual feel and evenness of my skin is amazing, and it just "glows"- I've switched to a tinted moisturizer now (I recommend Bobbi Brown)! Surprisingly gentle enough to use every day in the AM! I also use a sulfur based acne spot treatment that works well with this product without drying out my skin too much. I'll definitely be trying more MD Skincare products!

This product (I'm on my fourth 30-day supply) makes my skin appear plump, firm, almost poreless, luminous and glowing. My skin has a slight tendency to sensitivity, but this regime doesn't sting or cause dryness/peeling -- in fact, it promotes moisture retention and a silky suppleness. I get lots of compliments on my skin, with many women adding, "...but then again, you're much younger than I." If only they knew that I'm actually years older than they! I recommend it to friends and anyone else who's interested in easy skincare with a fabulous return on investment. Love the fact that this is to be used in the morning, when I'm know I'll make the time to actually use it.

Good for bad skin!

I just bought this and noticed that my skin looks smoother. I haven't had any breakouts either. I tried it years ago when I had more severe acne and didn't see much improvement, so I would recommend this to people with moderate to little acne. I had to go through 5 rounds of Accutane to clear the severe acne.

I'm 46 and have had breakout problems my entire adult life, especially around "that time of the month". I placed an order from skinstore.com for another product that I could not find at the mall and they shipped samples of this product. One try and I was hooked. My skin is very sensitive (can you say breakouts?) to anything I put on my face but this product has been the answer to my dreams! I've been using for about a month now and I plan on using forever. I have freckles to boot and these are getting less visible. I also use the MD Maximum Moisture Treatment afterwards and my skin is loving life! Could not be happier with these products and I have been break out free since. Did I say I'm actually using a moisture treatment and I have no break outs??
