I’ve been using Laura Geller’s B&B for several years and will continue to do so as long as it is available. This product suits my 50 plus skin (light color, aging, oily/combination, sensitive, & acne prone). I love, love, love the soft, subtle pink/berry color and that it brightens my dull, aging skin to the point of glowing without being too over the top shimmery or glittery. The fact that it does not clog my pores or cause breakouts is a big plus. It goes on so evenly, imparting a very natural color and a light sheen for highlight. I use this product more often than my other well known “O____” blush that is widely touted and used by many makeup guru’s. Like “O”, this product would work for most skin tones. I appreciate that it is buildable and I can wear it year around regardless of how pale or dark my skin gets. Like most products of this nature, it tends to be soft and can easily break and crumble if dropped. As I near the bottom of the pot (the same one I’ve used for over 2 years) mine has started to break into pieces however, I’ve dropped it on the floor several times and it often gets knocked around in my makeup case. Though I have enough to last another year, I’ll soon be buying another just in case it is unfortunately discontinued. I’m anxious to try LG's tinted moisturizer which I’ve heard is also easy to apply, melts into the skin and looks very natural. Thanks Skinstore for offering us LG's products!

No Shimmer or Glitter - One of a Kind

If you're reading Laura Geller reviews here on Skinstore you're probably sick of seeing me, but honestly, these products are so good I hope others try them and love them. I believed that Apricot Berry (also LG) was the blush that ended my quest for my perfect blush, until I tried Boysenberry. I'm so amazed by both I don't think I could choose between them. Due to current makeup trends it's been years since I've used a matte blush, and I wasn't sure where to even find one. When I saw that Boysenberry was "sugar free" (meaning no shimmer or glitter) I became curious. I ordered Boysenberry even though I was a little worried that the color would be purple or blue-toned. Luckily, the color is exquisite. It's a blend of soft peaches, apricot, and rose and it adds warmth and a beautiful, natural-looking flush to my skin. It's gives me that coveted "outdoorsy" glow. The "sugar-free" formula looks flawless, and it lasts all day. This controls oil and makes my pores invisible. You have to see this blush in real life to get just how gorgeous it is. It's a swirled blend of so many radiant colors it's fun just to look at it. With all the choices we have regarding makeup purchases, I figure, for my money, my makeup should be packaged in esthetically pleasing ways. Geller's colors are so attractive they demand clear packaging! A website view cannot do these colors justice. Boysenberry adds warmth, but it seems like it would be beautiful on all skin tones. If you like Laura Geller's Apricot Berry and Apricot Glow you must, must give Boysenberry a try.
