Dermablend Quick Fix Concealer SPF 30 Tan Review #1

Cons: poor coverage, fades easily
The old formula was better
-March 8, 2011
I already wrote dermablend about changing their formula. They said they had to change to improve and keep up with customer preferences. Now I see they have been rated a 1 star on your site by other customers, as well. This product was never rated that before. The old formula provided the best coverage. I have used this product for over 15 years and it was a staple in my make up routine. It was the single concealer that helped my dark circles due to heredity. Now I am back to looking for a concealer that works-I have tried most and nothing comes close to the Dermablend's old formula.

Ease of Use
Have to use a lot to cover a little...
-June 11, 2010
You'd think that with the thick and heavily pigmented consistency of this product that it would pretty much cover anything with very little product. I kept layering and layering and layering and still the discoloration on my cheeks showed through (I consider my discoloration in the moderate range). I got to the point where I could consider *most* of it covered but, by that time I had caked on the concealer and it was starting to settle into my pores and fine lines (which it claims it won't do).
The price is right for this product, but I would recommend Amazing Cosmetics' Amazing Concealer which is 2x the cost (for a full sized tube) instead of the dermablend brand, you use much less Amazing Concealer than you would the dermablend concealer.
