I have used this in the past and my nails always improve. I am prone to brittle, peeling, nails that grow like weeds but have ridges in them. I have never noticed a problem with my joints when I have used this in the past!

bad stuff

Appearex made my nails stronger, my hair came in thicker but frizzier, my JOINTS started hurting,beginning with my knees, first one, then the other, then my elbow, and that is when I stopped taking it. The pain in my joints finally stopped (took a few months). I thought I had premature arthritis. BAD STUFF! Not worth it.

May Help - Doesn't Hurt

My research indicates that biotin may in fact help with brittle nails and I am on month 2 of taking this product which seems to help and my nails are not worse. Additionally I have found that Biotin is in the B vitamin family and in the PDR it states that "There are no reports of adverse reactions associated with biotin supplementation in the literature."

works for nails, bad for joints

Appearex worked for my nails, they became stronger after one month. However, after 2 months, my joints, one by one, started hurting, and when I stopped the biotin (Appearex), the pain stopped after one week. So be aware if you try it, but I would not recommend this product.
